The coolant has a great influence when cutting titanium alloys. A large amount of coolant is always used when cutting titanium alloys, and high-pressure cooling (HPC) is applied as much as possible. High-pressure cooling makes it easier to eliminate chip bonding and prevent tool damage caused by chip re-cutting.

Suggestions:

Internal cooling through the spindle and tool.

Use high pressure cooling.

The flow rate and pressure of the coolant should be carefully planned according to the number and diameter of the coolant nozzles.
